About your tutor

I am a native Greek speaker with a university degree in teaching German as a foreign language. I hold a BA in German Literature & Culture from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MA in German as a Foreign Language, German Literature & Secondary Education from the University of Bielefeld, Germany.

My teaching experience spans multinational classrooms in Germany, high school German language classes in Greece, and exam preparation for the Goethe-Institut certificates.

My passion for languages

Since my childhood, I have been interested in foreign languages and cultures. I have traveled a lot, and it was always rewarding to be able to communicate in the official language of the country. Germany and Greece are very different countries, but they are connected because many natives study, live, and work in both countries, creating multinational communities.

I tailor every lesson to your needs — whether you prefer a structured approach using textbooks, workbooks, vocabulary, and extra materials, or a more communicative, conversation-based style. You choose what works best for you!

  • Up-to-date textbooks and workbooks matched to your age, level, and goals — or we can work with the book you already have.
  • Clear, engaging introduction of new material: reading, vocabulary and grammar explanations, and short conversation practice.
  • Systematic vocabulary building, with regular revision to make new words stick.
  • Homework assignments sent and reviewed each session for continuous progress.
  • Interactive whiteboard via Zoom Screen Share, with varied exercises and digital materials to keep lessons dynamic.
  • Constant review — because repetition is the key to lasting learning!
